The MedLim program is looking for promising start-ups that are developing disruptive, innovative BioMedTech products and services in one of the following areas: Cardiovascular, Neurological, Spine and Medical Surgical, which also includes areas such as Digestive & Gastrointestinal and Urological & Urogynaecological. Preferably, they’re currently in the ‘acceleration’ phase, with an in-depth pre-clinical study already completed (TRL level 5-7), and are preparing for the ‘design’ phase, working towards a human feasibility study and clinical validation.
The fourth edition of the MedLim programme is a partnership between Medtronic, LIOF, Rabobank and the competence centre Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus. With support from imec.istart. MedLim provides unique and in-depth experience and knowledge to help medtech start-ups succeed.

Timeline:

• Call open: 1 February
• Call closed: 1 March, midnight
• Preselection: 14 March
• Boardroom pitches (online) & final selection: 26 & 28 March
• 4-week fast-track acceleration programme 15 April – 8 May

The participation fee is €1500 (excluding travel costs) per startup team. This includes the full MedLim programme and matchmaking as well as meals and accommodation for 2 people per startup during the on-site week. You can find all the information about the programme here.
